E170 uses the newest twin-door alike design that doesn't require any hand tools to release the doors when the keylock is opened. Regarding the motherboard compatibility, it supports all specification (EEB3.5) such as Intel Dual Xeon, Intel Dual Xeon Nocona, Intel Socket 478 P4 or Socket 775 P4 as well as AMD Dual Opteron are all compatible with E170. This high-density server also designed to meet the diverse and demanding needs of today's enterprise-class computing environment such as RAID system or NAS application, through max. 3 drive capacity and thermal-correct cooling design in 1U form factor, the heat at processors and inside chassis keep cool running for 24 hours a day, it supports 400W hotswap redundant power supply sources that keep the system stable and mission critical. it represents a versatile platform for a wide range of applications within data center environments. It is the ideal platform for multi-server configurations such as cluster head nodes, front-end solutions, e-commerce, domain controllers, exchange servers, web servers, database servers and web-hosting servers.
